Who wants muddy foot prints on their nice clean carpet? We don't, so we certainly don't expect you to either. We always wear shoe covers, use dust sheets and leave your home like we were never there. Apart from leaving your heating toasty warm of course.
Your safety is our number one priority. We don't cut corners. The job gets done safely and to current standards and legislation or it doesn't get done at all. It goes without saying we are gas safe registered
Just because that little white box sits in the corner and keeps the house warm without a grumble, it doesn't mean it doesn't need looking after. You should get your boiler serviced every year without fail. Not only to make sure it stays efficient (who wants high gas bills) but also to ensure you are safe from carbon monoxide poisoning
We service all makes and types of wall hung boilers. We also check your central heating system at the same time to ensure all the radiators are working correctly. We charge £78 for the service. Sometimes your boiler will need a new seal or gasket depending on how intrusive a service we have to do. These usually range from £10 - £60 but we will advise you before we fit this if it is needed.
We don't see as many of these as we used to but there are still a lot out there. We have to really pull our sleeves up and get grubby to get these clean, as open flued boilers get very dirty. We don't mind though in fact we enjoy it.
Why does the heating stop working when you least want it to? We think these boilers know when it's got cold. We also know how stressful it can be when it happens. Will I get ripped off? Will they fix it quickly? Can I trust them? Don't worry you are in safe hands with us. No hidden charges, no charging you labour while we sit in plumb centre picking up the parts (drinking tea) and no bodging the job.
Has your boiler given up on you? Don't worry we will be there to fix it. We charge £84 which covers you for the first hour we are there and up to £10 in materials. If we don't think we can fix it in that time we will give you a quote to let you know what the cost will be. If you're happy with it then we get to work. Want a quote from elsewhere? No problem. If we haven't carried out any work there is no charge. If we have had to start work we will only charge you the first £84.
We don't just throw parts at your boiler until it starts working. We expertly fault find so that we only charge you for the part that is needed. Again if we can't fix it in the first hour with £10's worth of materials we will quote you for the repair and its ups to you if you want a second opinion. Again we will only charge you the first £84if we have carried out any work or diagnosed the fault.
Got a water feature coming through the ceiling in the living room? Don't worry we will bring our mop. Same rules apply as breakdowns. £84 gets us there and covers you for the first hour and up to £10 in materials. We also fix dripping taps, toilets and general plumbing.
Remember landlords... You need to get your appliances checked each year and provide your tenants with a copy of the certificate. We won't bang the drum on that one, we know you know it's a legal obligation. We recommend you have the appliances serviced at the same time. Don't worry we do you a deal for adding the service on.
This is what shows you have had your appliances gas safety checked. We issue one to yourselves and we can also issue a copy direct to the Tenant if you wish. We only offer the CP12 without a service for room sealed boilers. To obtain a CP12 for an open flued appliance such as a fire you will also need to have the appliance serviced as well. If you also have a gas hob that will need checking we charge extra.
We recommend you have your appliance serviced at the same time as a CP-12. We're not just after your cash. It saves us having to condemn your appliance if it fails the safety check due to needing cleaning and it also reduces your chances of the boiler breaking down in the winter. Nobody wants a disgruntled tenant on the phone because their heating is broken
If you want us to we can remind you when your service is due. We can also Liaise directly with your tenant to arrange a time and date that suits them. Just pass us their number and we will do the rest.
